Today, Sunday, October 12th, we’re celebrating National Farmer’s Day the best way we know how– by highlighting the farmers themselves.
Across the country, six of our partner farms will be taking over the Our Farms Social Media for a full day of farm life, family, and behind-the-scenes moments from the people who grow, raise, and craft the food you see on our marketplace.
This all-day event is a chance to slow down and connect with the real faces behind your food. Not through polished ads or filters, but through the authentic rhythm of daily farm life.
A Day on the Farm, Shared in Real Time
From the rice fields of Castor River Farm in Missouri to the rolling pastures of Painterland Sisters in Pennsylvania, each farm will share their day in their own voice. You’ll see everything from morning chores and field tours to product highlights and family moments.
Here’s the full lineup:
-
9:30–11:00 AM — Castor River Farm
-
11:00–12:30 PM — KCK Farms / Farm Wife Tallow
-
12:30–2:00 PM — Willow Moon Farm
-
2:00–3:30 PM — Roots Chips
-
3:30–5:00 PM — Painterland Sisters
We’ll be sharing their videos throughout the day, all filmed by the farmers themselves and published by the Our Farms team so they can stay focused on what they do best: farming.
Bringing Farmers to the Forefront
National Farmer’s Day is about recognizing the dedication and care it takes to grow food with integrity. These farmers represent a range of operations, from regenerative rice producers and tallow artisans to organic dairy makers and small-batch chip growers, but they all share the same purpose: producing food that’s honest, sustainable, and rooted in community.
Each share, comment, and tag helps build awareness for small farms and drives direct support through their Our Farms storefronts.
