  • The Farm

CatSpring Yaupon is an Indigenous woman-owned farm in Cat Spring, Texas, crafting tea from yaupon—America's only native caffeinated plant. Founder Abianne Falla, a member of the Chickasaw Nation, hand-roasts regenerative organic yaupon into a smooth, naturally sweet tea that delivers steady energy with no jitters or crash. Across 2,600 acres, every harvest helps restore native grasslands—proving conservation can fund itself. Rooted in tradition, led by heritage.

Yaupon (Ilex vomitoria) is the only caffeinated plant native to North America—and CatSpring hand-roasts it into a tea that's smooth, naturally sweet, and never bitter. Because yaupon contains no tannins, it brews clean and gentle on the stomach. Its rare trifecta of caffeine, theobromine, and theacrine delivers a calm, focused lift with no jitters and no crash. Rich in antioxidants and polyphenols, yaupon supports focus, mood, and metabolic health—a healthier, homegrown alternative to coffee and imported tea.

CatSpring tends over 2,600 acres of Regenerative Organic Certified yaupon in Cat Spring, Texas—working with the land, not against it. By clearing invasive yaupon thickets and reseeding native grasses through prescribed fire and low-impact harvesting, every crop helps restore the Post Oak Savannah: storing soil carbon, boosting biodiversity, and recharging groundwater. It's a model where the more they grow, the more they restore—conservation that funds itself.
