East Wind Nut Butters is a fully community owned and operated business creating premium nut and seed butters for more than four decades. Every jar is made by members of East Wind Community, an intentional farm in the Ozarks where resources are shared, work is cooperative, and food is made with simple integrity. From Valencia peanut butter to almond, cashew, and tahini varieties, each product is milled in small batches and reflects the care of the people who grow, live, and work together here.
East Wind Community sits on more than 1,000 acres in the Missouri Ozarks, where members live and work together on a mix of orchards, pasture, gardens, and food production spaces. The farm supports dairy cows, pigs, and chickens through rotational grazing, along with vegetable and herb gardens that supply most of the community’s fresh food.
This land also houses the roasting, milling, and packaging facilities for East Wind Nut Butters, keeping every step of production close to the source. The result is a cooperative farm and craft operation where stewardship of the land and the care of the community guide everything they make.
