We started Our Farms with a clear purpose: to rebuild human connection between farmers and communities through food and grocery.
The food system has long prioritized profit over people, often leaving farmers with limited control, thin margins, and little recognition. Our CEO, Robbie Dye, saw the gap while learning first-hand from an American cattle rancher and chose to build something different.
In 2024, Our Farms CEO, Robbie Dye, was recognized as a “Young Agri-Food Leader" by the Farm Foundation. The program highlights emerging leaders in agriculture who are accelerating agribusinesses - improving the food-system, the value-chain between farmers and consumers, and how relationships across the supply chain are strengthened.
Built Around Farmers
Robbie’s work with Our Farms reflects a simple but powerful idea: give farmers the tools they need to succeed in today’s economy. The platform he leads connects American farms directly with consumers through a streamlined digital marketplace.
Farmers set their own prices.
They keep more of each sale.
They get support with logistics and marketing, without giving up control.
The result is a system where the people growing the food are seen, heard, and valued.
Leadership That Generates Impact
The Farm Foundation’s Young Agri-Food Leaders program brings together a select group of young professionals and government leaders from across agriculture and food policy. Those nominated are invited to participate in a yearlong experience designed to foster connection, leadership development, and big-picture thinking.
It includes industry events, mentorships, and a chance to collaborate with other changemakers focused on building a more resilient and transparent food system. Robbie’s nomination puts Our Farms at the center of that conversation.
It reflects a belief in progress that benefits everyone, from the field to the table.
A Shared Mission
At Our Farms, we believe strong food systems begin with strong farms. Dye’s nomination is a moment of recognition, but more than that, it is a sign that the work underway is being noticed by leaders who care about long-term impact.
Thank you to the Farm Foundation for shining a light on the people building meaningful change in agriculture.
And thank you to the farmers who continue to inspire everything we do.
Choose better food. Support better systems.
