For the love of honey and the bees...

At Bee Grateful Farm we are passionate about honey and the bees.  We started beekeeping in 2013, and since then have fallen in love with not only honey but our pollinator friends as well.

With every purchase we are dedicated to giving back to the bees by creating pollinator habitats that are protected from pesticides, herbicides and other chemicals that threaten pollinators. Thank you for purchasing our candies and being a part of this mission.

  • About Bee Grateful Farm
  • Crafted by Bees and Hands.
  • The Farm

Bee Grateful began in 2016 when chef Jason Rodriguez traded fine dining for farming with his family in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. What started as a small garden soon grew into a community farm, and, unexpectedly, into caramels made entirely with local honey.

Those honey caramels quickly outshined everything else at the farmers market, leading us to build a solar-powered candy kitchen where we still handcraft, cut, and wrap every piece. Today, our collection includes Salted Honey Caramels, chef-inspired flavors like Lavender, Chocolate, Espresso, and Ginger, plus our Honey Caramel Crunch Bites.

Every batch is small-batch, honey-sweetened, and sustainably packaged, a sweet reminder to savor nature and “bee grateful.”

Unlike most candies made with corn syrup in anonymous factories, Bee Grateful caramels are 100% sweetened with local Colorado honey and handmade in small batches. From sourcing the honey to cutting and wrapping each piece, everything happens under one solar-powered roof. Sustainably, thoughtfully, and with flavor you can truly taste.

Bee Grateful Farm is based in the mountains of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where the Rodriguez family first grew vegetables for a thriving CSA and local markets. What began as a small farm and beekeeping project has since evolved into a solar-powered candy kitchen, still sourcing honey from Colorado hives and carrying forward the same care for land, pollinators, and community.
