Jeju Black Matcha comes packaged in a recyclable cylinder and compostable inner pouch.
While there are no hard set rules, our unique matcha varieties are best enjoyed as lattes rather than with water alone. All our matcha are made of tea leaves grown in full sun, unshaded, without removing any of their stems and veins. This results in an extremely bitter tea when mixed purely with water; however, when combined with whole milk or creamy oat milk, they are possibly the most flavorful & delicious tea lattes you will taste! Our farmers chose to create these full-sun matcha because of the intensity of the resulting flavor and nutrients. This is also in line with the Wild Orchard way of doing things: wild, regenerative, organic, and processed as little as possible.

LATTE RECIPE
- Whisk 2-3 teaspoons matcha in a few Tablespoons water until completely smooth.
- Add 1 cup whole milk or creamy oat milk.
- Stir in maple syrup to your liking.

Wild Orchard’s tea farm sits on 1,000 acres of volcanic soil on Jeju Island, South Korea, an ideal environment for deep-rooted, nutrient-dense growth. Since 1999, tea trees have been planted from seed, not cuttings, allowing for stronger, more resilient plants. For over two decades, the farm was left largely untouched, encouraging a thriving ecosystem of native plants, insects, and wildlife.
There’s no irrigation, no synthetic fertilizers, and no pesticides, only geese to fertilize the soil and manage weeds, and nature to do the rest. In 2022, Wild Orchard became the world’s first Regenerative Organic Certified® tea farm, a recognition of its commitment to biodiversity, soil health, and long-term sustainability.
