Single Herb Tinctures
Single Herb Tinctures
In addition to our formulated tinctures, we offer single herb tinctures. Our tinctures only contain fresh plant material grown on our farm, a percentage of water, and organic, gluten-free alcohol.
We use fresh plant material rather than dried to capture chemical constituents that might be lost or changed when the herbs are dried.
Lion's Mane is the only exception. We source this product fresh and then dry it.
We offer the following single tinctures in one-ounce dropper bottles. We recommend adding them to one our teas, simply syrups or any food of your choice to dissipate the alcohol taste.
- Ashwagandha (2:1 fresh fall roots, 75% alcohol)
- Milky Oats (2:1 fresh milky oats 75% alcohol)
- Lion's Mane (Double extracted. 2:1 25-30% alcohol)
- Tulsi (Fresh, 2:1 75% alcohol)
- California Poppy (Fresh 2:1 flower, roots and leaf, 75% alcohol)
- Ginger (Fresh 2:1 75% alcohol)
- Turmeric (fresh 2:1 75% alcohol)
- Passionflower (fresh leaf and flower 2:1 75% alcohol)
- Skullcap (fresh leaf 2:1 75 % alcohol)
- Burdock Root (fresh fall root 2:1 75% alcohol)
- Cardoon (fresh leaf 2:1 75% alcohol)
If you see an ingredient in any of our products you want as a single tincture, contact us so we can make one for you.
Want A Sweeter Tasting Tincture?
We can also make the tincture into an elixir by adding honey, maple syrup, or glycerin, a sugar alcohol. (An elixir is 50% sweetener and 50% alcohol.) The tincture will taste better, but you must take a larger dosage. We offer the elixirs in two-ounce dropper bottles.
Disclaimer:
Please speak to your medical professional before taking any of our tinctures if you have any medical issues, are pregnant or nursing, or are taking medication. Lion's Mane should not be taken by anyone on blood thinners unless your medical professional recommends otherwise. Ashwagandha is a nightshade in the eggplant family.
These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Taste
Depending on the herb, the taste can be bitter or pungent in a strong alcohol base. You can dilute the alcohol taste by putting in hot tea, but make sure the tea has cooled somewhat so as not to destroy the medicinal value of the tincture.
Dosage
I always advise going slow unless you know how much you should take. Everybody reacts differently to the herbs.
I always ask people to start with five drops and access. Then, move to 5 drops twice, then three times a day. Then move to 10 drops and then 20 drops, following the same pattern. You can add them to any drink or food to mask the taste.

The Naked Botanical is where plants, purpose, and playfulness come together. What started with one homegrown tomato has blossomed into a vibrant 5-acre certified organic farm where herbs, flowers, and fruit thrive under the care of founder Anna, a former lawyer turned full-time plant whisperer..
They believe feeling good should be joyful, and that wellness works best when it’s rooted in laughter.
From the field to your front door, their mission is simple: help people feel good, so they can do good.

Every tea, tincture, and tonic is handcrafted in small batches using certified organic herbs grown right on the farm. They never add artificial or “natural” flavors. because they believe plants are powerful enough on their own. Each product is a celebration of the real, unfiltered magic of nature, bottled with love, intention, and just a hint of humor.
From soil to shelf, everything made is rooted in joy, sustainability, and a deep respect for the healing power of herbs.

Tucked away on five organic acres, The Naked Botanical farm is where the magic begins. It’s a living, breathing sanctuary where herbs, flowers, fruit trees, and vegetables grow wild with intention. Certified organic since 2019, the land is tended with care, laughter, and a whole lot of compost.
Every plant grown is part of a bigger mission: to heal, to nourish, and to spread joy.
From early morning harvests to hand-labeling jars in the shed, everything happens right here. No factories, no shortcuts, just nature doing what it does best, with a little help from us.
